What do you love to do in your time off?

I enjoy spending time with my family, spending time outdoors, hiking, eating good food and working on old cars.

What defines your personality?

I am kind, friendly and compassionate.

Why did you choose a career in medicine?

Medicine can be very challenging, but rewarding as well. Very few professions allow the level of trust between patient and provider, and the ability to make a meaningful difference in a patient’s life is what drew me to a career in medicine.

Favorite procedures or surgeries to perform

Suturing and cerumen disimpactions are both very satisfying.

Goals that you have, either personally, professionally or both

I am a Los Angeles native, and enjoy working with the underserved communities of Los Angeles. Given Los Angeles has such a large Hispanic community, and speaking Spanish myself, I am a firm believer of breaking down communication barriers to improve patient outcomes.
