What Do You Do In Your Time Off?
Spend time with family, kids, and especially grandchildren. Enjoy gardening, outdoor activities, and sports. I also take pleasure in refurbishing vintage Tonka trucks.

Why Did You Choose A Career In Medicine?
I've been interested in medicine since childhood because I love helping others improve their quality of life.

Donations through my church that help many causes, especially world hunger and disaster relief.
What are your favorite procedures or surgeries to perform?
Thoracentesis & Pleurx Catheter placement.
What are your goals personally, professionally or both?
I aim to expand my medical knowledge in the field of sleep medicine to provide optimal care for my patients.
Most influential mentor you've worked with?
I've had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the nation's leading pulmonary/sleep medicine doctors. For instance, Dr. Roger Seheult, who was awarded the Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa Medical Merit Medal for his contributions to developing a COVID-19 policy, including testing and early treatment, for the Kingdom of Bahrain. He is also the founder of the MedCram YouTube series, which provides valuable resources not only for COVID-19 treatment but also for instruction in pulmonary and sleep medicine for students and physicians worldwide.

I have a passion for sleep medicine and hope to not only expand my knowledge base but also share the expertise I've accumulated over 25 years with the sleep medicine team here at LA CENTA.
