I love to go to concerts, play with my dog- Cooper Pup, watch scary movies and travel with my husband. I am also a big foodie so I love to go out and try new restaurants or food trucks with friends!
What defines your personality?
Compassionate, appreciative, motivated
Why did you choose a career in medicine?
I always knew I wanted to help people and medicine was the perfect pathway for me to give back to others. I grew up in a medically underserved community and my entire life I never had a Hispanic provider and very few female providers. So I decided I wanted to change that narrative and be a reflection of my community, someone people can relate to and trust with their care. I love making a difference in peoples lives for the better.
Favorite procedures or surgeries to perform
I enjoy cerumen removals and the scopes!
Goals that you have, either personally, professionally or both
I would love to complete my American Sign Language (ASL) courses, advance in procedural and surgical skills as I advance in my career and travel the world!
Charities/causes that you are passionate about
I love to give back to animal charities and causes geared towards youth and women's health.
Do you speak another language?
Yes, Spanish.
