Q & A with Dr. Farnoosh:
What Do You Do In Your Time Off?
I enjoy watching movies, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and exploring new restaurants and foods. My future plans include traveling and exploring other countries and cultures as well.
What Defines Your Personality?
I am very passionate about patient care and education. Calm, collected, and caring.
Why Did You Choose A Career In Medicine?
The intricate interplay of anatomy, physiology, and biology has been of great interest to me. Having the privilege of being trusted by the patients and loved ones has also played a major role in my decision to pursue a carrier in medicine. Advocating for patients, counseling, and educating them has also been a long standing passion of mine.
Favorite Procedures or Surgeries You Like to Perform
One of the reasons that I gravitated towards Otolaryngology was the vast diversity of life-changing procedures I would be able to offer to patients. I do enjoy performing a variety of in-office and minimally invasive procedures as well as more complex surgeries in the operating room. But most importantly, I also focus on non-surgical treatment options when possible and help them decide which option best addresses their needs.
