Over the past five years, Dr. Trenkle spent time perfecting a process to make procedure more effective and simple for the patient.
“I am now the West Coast preceptor facility for the most state-of-the-art technique in minimally invasive sinus surgery called TruDi Navigation,” said Dr. Trenkle. “This is an image-guided technique that is cutting edge and the future of our field. I have trained over 20 physicians on how to use this technology and perfect their techniques.”

"Dr. Geoffrey is simply amazing. He is knowledgable and experienced."— Mina S. Yelp Review
“I chose a career in medicine because I like to help people,” said Dr. Trenkle. “That may seem simple but it was the easiest path to be able to do the greatest amount of good. My parents are both physicians and that obviously shaped my decision and exposed me to how diverse the field really is.”
With his own family, Dr. Trenkle loves to travel around the world and experience new cultures. It provides him with a new perspective and a better understanding of people. One of his favorite quotes comes from Henry Miller: "One's destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things."
“I like to think that understanding people is what defines my personality,” said Dr. Trenkle. “I try to really understand everyone I come in contact with in the hopes that I can learn something about myself and help gain new perspective.” Dr. Trenkle is constantly striving to understand his patients’ issues regardless of the severity of the problems. What may seem small to a doctor is a source of frustration for a patient.
“In 2010, my wife lost her father to cancer,” said Dr. Trenkle. “It was very difficult being on the other side of the ball.” Waiting for treatments was hard on his family. “Even as a doctor, there was so much unknown,” he said. “The experience and loss made me much more aware of how important support is during the treatment for both the patient and the family.”
Since starting the practice, Dr. Trenkle and his staff have held multiple charitable events to help cancer support groups, including Cancer Support Community (www.cancersupportcommunity.org).
Dr. Trenkle has committed his career to serve all those in need of help. He firmly believes that a patient’s needs are important no matter how big or small. He is excited that his practice continues to grow while making a difference in many people’s lives.
“My major goal in life is to continue to grow my practice while maintaining a good work-life balance,” said Dr. Trenkle. “I have an amazing wife and two beautiful kids. Growing up in a family of doctors, I know how easy it is to get consumed in your work. I do my best to dedicate myself to my craft while ensuring I still spend time with my family and grow as a person.”
